A quick and easy summer flatbread featuring smoky grilled peaches, creamy burrata cheese, fresh basil, and a fragrant honey drizzle. Perfect for gatherings or a light indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large store-bought naan or pita bread
  • 2 ripe but firm peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 ball (about 8 oz / 225 g) burrata cheese, fresh and creamy
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey (preferably wildflower or orange blossom)
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves, torn
  • Flaky sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
  2. Slice each peach half into 3-4 thick wedges. Brush them lightly with olive oil.
  3. Place the peach wedges skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 3-4 minutes per side until char marks appear and the fruit softens slightly but holds shape. Remove and set aside.
  4. Brush both sides of the naan or pita with olive oil. Grill for about 1-2 minutes per side until warm and grill-marked but not crispy hard.
  5. Transfer the warm flatbread to a serving platter. Tear the burrata into chunks and scatter over the flatbread while still warm.
  6. Arrange the grilled peach wedges evenly on top of the burrata.
  7. Sprinkle torn fresh basil leaves, flaky sea salt, and cracked black pepper over everything. Drizzle lemon juice if using.
  8. Gently drizzle honey over the entire flatbread.
  9. Serve immediately while the burrata is luscious and the peaches are warm.

Notes

Let burrata sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before assembling to soften. Watch peaches closely while grilling to avoid burning. Use mild floral honey for best flavor. Serve immediately after assembly for best texture and taste.
