These Easy White Chocolate Pretzel Fingers are a quick, no-bake Halloween treat made with just three ingredients. Salty pretzel rods are dipped in creamy white chocolate and topped with almond ‘fingernails’ for a delightfully creepy and delicious snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24–30 pretzel rods (thick, straight ones, like Snyder’s of Hanover)
  • 12 ounces white melting chocolate (e.g., Ghirardelli white melting wafers or CandiQuik)
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds (thin, flat slices)
  • Optional: red gel food coloring
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pour sliced almonds into a small bowl or plate and spread them in a single layer.
  3. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl on 50% power for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth (about 1.5 to 2 minutes total).
  4. Check consistency: chocolate should be thick but pourable like warm honey. If too thick, stir in 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil.
  5. Hold a pretzel rod by one end and dip the other end into the melted white chocolate, submerging about two-thirds of the pretzel. Give it a gentle twist as you pull it out to let excess drip off.
  6. Place the dipped pretzel on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. While the chocolate is still wet, press a sliced almond onto the tip of the pretzel so the pointed end extends slightly past the tip, like a fingernail. Press gently to stick.
  8. Optional: Use a toothpick to create knuckle lines on the chocolate before it sets. Add a tiny drop of red-tinted white chocolate at the base of the almond for a ‘bloody’ effect.
  9. Let the chocolate set completely at room temperature for 20-30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  10. Gently remove each pretzel finger from the parchment. Trim any excess chocolate drips with a small knife if needed.

Notes

Don’t overheat the white chocolate; it burns easily. Work in small batches to prevent the chocolate from setting before you add the almonds. Use the ‘tap and twist’ method when dipping to ensure even coating. Let the pretzels set completely before moving to avoid fingerprints. These taste even better the next day.
